Ikea Lack TV Stand

 I instantly fell in love with this apartment below. {If anyone knows the source, please let me know! I saved it on my computer & forgot to add the source, oops!}I love everything about it; from the modern sleek lines to the pop of blues & greens throughout. Currently I'm on the search for a sleek & simple tv stand. I looove the tv stand in this apartment. 

First things first, I immediately went to Ikea's website! I spotted the "lack" tv stand in white for $49.99 It's definitely on the list! I then went to google and tried to find what it looked like in "real life" (: I love to do this because it gives you a better idea of the size, scale, opinions, etc.

Travels & Kendra Scott!

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been out for a while. It's been crazy here! I have been out of town every.single.weekend. this month including 10 days in the middle. It's good to be getting back in routine today. My husband & I went with his mother to California on a business trip to help out & babysit the kids while she was away for the week & to give her a break. First off, California is AMAZING!! We are already planning our trip back! We got to see so much stuff, but we definitely want to go back & see more. It will also be a totally different experience with just the two of us, versus babysitting 4 kids! hehe (:

While we were in Beverly Hills, I spotted the Kendra Scott store! It was so awesome to see all the beautiful, colorful, bright jewelry all in one place! Talk about eye candy! I was in heaven! (: Kendra Scott only has three store locations: Beverly Hills, Austin, & Dallas. It was definitely a treat to have the pleasure to shop inside the store, the two girls working there were very friendly & helpful!  Calvin bought me this pair of beautiful earrings as an anniversary present {our 5th anniversary was May 26th!} I absolutely love them & him too! ;) They came in the cutest dust bag too!

iPhone Case Shopping

My Kate Spade iPhone case broke yesterday. I was sad, but also excited to get a new one. Love when that happens! I went to the website Society 6 & oh my goodness. The choices. The designs. Ahhh! Haha There were sooo many to choose from! Here were my top 10:











And the winner is the last one {the yellow vw!} It is especially close to my heart because I own a VW! Although it isn't pink or turquoise with sparkles {like my usual picks haha} it is very different & unique which I also absolutely love. The one that came in a very close second was #9, that may be my next one. I love all the vintage 50s clothes in front of that cute shop.

Target Jewelry

Have you noticed that Target has a lot of really cute jewelry?! I have to tell myself to keep walking whenever I pass the jewelry section. When my husband is with me, he knows to hold my hand & walk really fast like we are in a hurry to get to the grocery section part of the store until we pass the jewelry counter! lol Here are a few of my faves:






The best is that all of the pieces are $16.99 & under! I love it! There is a pair of earrings that I have my eye on, but I couldn't find them online. It's a pair of drop earrings with a beautiful blue round gem stone. It's yellow gold-tone too. FABULOUS! Happy shopping!

Jean Shopping

I went jean shopping this weekend. I think I tried on a million pairs of jeans at different stores & finally found a pair. Yes, one pair. Thankfully, I was only in the market to buy one pair lol. Things worked out wonderfully! But shew, it was exhausting!

weekend thrifting

This weekend I went to some thrift stores to browse around & I found 2 wonderful books! They are now residing on our coffee table. The best part is, I bought them both for a total of $2.50! The first book shown has some amazing tips for gardening. I CANNOT wait to get started on planting flowers! A few people from church gave us bags & bags {literally!!} of narcissus (the yellow flower that always pops up first in the spring time!) we planted them all, or so I thought until I found 2 {Wal-Mart} bags full of bulbs. I looked inside the bag and saw that they were blooming inside the plastic bag! How cool is that? Calvin & I planted the rest. Needless to say, our yard is going to be full of yellow happy flowers in the Springtime... & I wouldn't want it any other way! ;)







This is the second book I bought, it has absolutely breathtaking pictures of roses. I googled & found that many people tear the pages out & use them as artwork. For now, I am leaving the pages inside the book. It's just too cute of a book!

I also went in Tuesday Morning to browse {you know what happens when ya browse haha!} and I found this book! I didn't add it to my book list the other day because I was trying to put all books that would be under $15 including shipping & handling & this book cost more than that used. I picked it up, turned it over, and there it was before my eyes.... $9.99!! I couldn't believe it! Brand new, still in the plastic cover for $9.99!

Then, I received an adorable cupcake magazine that my mom bought for me in the mail! The funny thing is, when I am in line at the store, I always pick it up & browse through it. Thank you mom!
