a warm Christmas

All of this cold weather has me thinking about the beach! Aaaah, warm weather, sand between your toes, picking up seashells.... haha for now these pictures will have to do! =) The last one is my favorite!

all-time favorite

The first time I laid eyes on this picture was in West Elm's Christmas catalog last year. It's so simple and elegant-- my favorite combination. The capiz chandelier (my favorite!), blue velvet chairs, glass table, silver pine cones.... simply amazing!

Christmas Love

I love the way this room is coastal with lots of white but at the same time it has pops of red in the room and it looks really good! Love it!

Gorgeous

I'd have to say this is my dream bedroom! Love the capiz chandelier! I've always wanted to live at the beach and this room would definitely fit right in at the beach! The designer is Brooke Giannetti. She's an interior designer. Brooke's work is breathtakingly beautiful! Check out her website at the bottom of the entry.

boy meets girl

As I've mentioned before, the husband is rustic and I'm girly and glamorous. What do you think the hubs would think about this photo? FAVORITE! =)

Dreamy

I'd love for this to be a den in my future house. My favorites are: the crystal chandelier, white sheers, pops of pink, log in table, blue sofa, butterfly ottoman, and light bluish gray paint color. Basically, everything.

two lovely rooms

I would definitely want to dine at this table overlooking the ocean. This would be a dream house for me. It's just right with white slip covered chairs, an older looking table, and fresh roses. I love the ocean!

This room is so charming. I like everything from the chandelier, double sinks, lamps, to the pink roses. I would like this room to double as a dressing room, please? =) lol

Beachy Christmas

I love the beach. The colors are so calm, serene, and relaxing. I found these Christmas images from Coastal Living and I just had to share. They are amazing. I love the simplicity. I've always wondered what it would be like to have Christmas at the beach, so these pictures are definitely a glimpse! Enjoy!

Can you spot the ghost chair in this photo? Love it!

Etsy Favorite

One of the many things that I like about Etsy is that most of the items are homemade. I think that's so wonderful. This is one of my favorites! The seller, 'classicdesigns' is amazing. Her store is full of beautiful jewelry and reasonable prices. This necklace is definitely going on my Christmas list! Click here for here store!

one of my favorite birthday presents!

As some of you may know, pearls are my favorite thing! They are so classic, timeless, and pure. I have been looking for a pearl ring for a while but could never find one that I really liked. I like my jewelry to be simple. On Etsy, I found the most beautiful pearl ring ever! Tada!

hiding behind the curtains

I'm definitely tucking this picture away for whenever we have a house! Calvin and I have a ton of books, we don't have enough book shelves to hold them all! I also don't like the look of clutter. I can't think of a better and more organized way to hide all of your books than behind a curtain! That's a brilliant idea! I also love the little ladder like a real library! You could easily have this in your living room, den, or home office. Okay, so I think I want a house now just so Calvin can build that! =D

My Valentine . . . =)

My husband is soooo amazing! Sometimes I don't know how he puts up with me, seriously! haha Before I met Calvin, I was one of those people who if I tried to do something and it didn't happen the first time, I would more than likely quit. I've learned SO much from him. It may sound crazy, but I have really learned how to take care of myself more (Example: unclogging toilets haha), be more independent I guess you could say.

He ordered me my "dream ring" for Valentine's Day AND he gave it to me early! =) Yay! I told him that I liked it... and he snuck and ordered it! It's an emerald cut sapphire, my birthstone. I ordered him a wallet and it came the same day as my ring did. haha I thought it was cool how both of our V-Day presents were delivered UPS the same day. I will take a picture of it tomorrow and post it! Thank you sooo much babe!! I love you and I'm so thankful to be your wife, thanks for loving and taking care of me. I'm so thankful God wanted you to be my husband.
