favorite pictures

Just dropping in & thought I would share some of my recent favorite inspiration pictures! =)

The lovely West Elm always has delightful inspiration pictures. I heart the white sheer curtains with silver capiz border.

The hubs & I have taken advantage of the ocean lately. It's soo incredibly nice to live so close to the ocean! I'm so blessed! No matter how stressed I am, as soon as I take one glance at the ocean, all my worries fly away. I really like this beach inspired picture by West Elm. We have a sectional the same color as the one above. I'm really liking that pillow! {mental note!}

In other news, my chandeliers should be here tomorrow! Par-tay! haha I can't wait!

knock knock

Sometime in the next 1-2 months, we'll be replacing our front door. My husband asked me what color I'd like to see it painted. Researching away I went =) We have a ranch style brick house. Our shutters are black. The colors that I am debating about are: yellow, red, & black.

& just for fun . . . a pink door! =)

Would do you like the best? =)

Life is a garden, dig it!

The husband and I got to work today in the flower garden--- or should I say bush garden? There were no flowers in existence in the "flower" garden! lol We cut down at least six bushes. It doesn't sound like a whole lot but it equaled to be about four truck loads we hauled off. That is a lot of bushes! We took before & after pictures, I can't wait to share soon! We were very blessed. Underneath all of the weeds & pine needles was nice fresh soil! It also had plastic underneath.
Now that I have a fresh blank slate to work with, I'm on the hunt for some pretty flowers. Unlike my usual neutral color palette inside the house, I want the flower garden to be absolutely beautiful & bright
! Hopefully we will be able to get some fresh mulch & bring home some flowers tomorrow. Pictures to come soon! I goolged flower beds & here's what I found . . . Enjoy! =)

mini pendant lighting

I'm really liking the idea of having mini pendants above the island in the kitchen. These mini pendants in particular. The kitchen renovation is still a month or so off, but it's always good to do your research =)

This kitchen is pure bliss. I heart the collection of blue bottles on the built in shelf.

have fun!

So I recommend having fun,

because there is nothing better for people in this world

than to eat,

drink,

and enjoy life.

That way they will experience some happiness

along with all the hard work

God gives them under the sun.

THE gray!

So, I changed my paint color {again} haha. The other paint color was pretty but it wasn't the gray. I showed the third photo on here a few days ago. It is so lovely! I found out the name of the paint color thanks to Decor Pad. It's called Pure White by Benjamin Moore. I'm so thankful for Decor Pad! We have the first coat of paint on right now. It looks wonderful. Can't wait to share pictures! So for now, here are some pictures with the same paint color we are using, hooray!
