Better Homes and Gardens

One of my favorite magazines is Better Homes & Gardens. I've been waiting for the magazine subscription to go on sale at Amazon. I was on Pinterest the other day & someone pinned this picture. Yay! I went to Better Homes & Gardens website & quickly ordered my subscription! =) The link is at the bottom of the home page. I'm so excited! Hopefully I'll get a magazine before my upcoming ski trip. I need to stock up on magazines for the trip! Just thought I'd share this deal with you all! Thank you once again pinterest! ;)

A few of my other favorites are Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Country Living, In Style, Real Simple . . . I like them all! I'm waiting for those to go on sale too! haha What are your favorite magazines?

first dresser of the year!

My husband & I refinished our first dresser to sale for the year! It's been so warm lately, we decided to go ahead & go for it! Sadly, I didn't get a chance to take a before picture. I really LOVE this dresser. I love the lines, the feet, the tiny little antique brass knobs. They are adorable, so little! Here she is all decorated! The print is another one of my Katie Daisy prints from thewheatfield. It hangs in our kitchen. I love it! I blogged about my other Katie Daisy print here. =)







Do you enjoy refinishing furniture? I gotta admit, my favorite part is the staging, picking out the hardware, & taking the photos! ;)

Kate Spade Love

Kate Spade is one of my favorites! I don't think I have ever came across something that I didn't love. Everything is so positive, cheerful, & colorful. What more could you want? =) I've talked about Kate Spade previously, here. I'd love to go to her New York store! Maybe sometime this year, hopefully!

I love this bangle. On the outside of the bangle it has engraved, "partners in crime, peas in a pod, sidekicks, birds of a feather, two of a kind, perfect pairs" & on inside engraved it says "best friend ever." Too cute! It's $58. It's suppose to be for a bridesmaid gift, but every time I see it, it makes me think of me & my husband. Hopefully it will go sale soon. =) {Click the picture to go to the link}

I was in Nordstrom the other day and came across this adorable ipad case. It is super cute!! 

Target Jewelry

Have you noticed that Target has a lot of really cute jewelry?! I have to tell myself to keep walking whenever I pass the jewelry section. When my husband is with me, he knows to hold my hand & walk really fast like we are in a hurry to get to the grocery section part of the store until we pass the jewelry counter! lol Here are a few of my faves:






The best is that all of the pieces are $16.99 & under! I love it! There is a pair of earrings that I have my eye on, but I couldn't find them online. It's a pair of drop earrings with a beautiful blue round gem stone. It's yellow gold-tone too. FABULOUS! Happy shopping!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day is already here . . . time is flying by! I recently made these Valentine cookies. They were delicious! It resembled a mix between a strawberry Oreo & a whoopie pie. I had a lot of leftover icing and made a chocolate fudge cake last night, delicious!

Cookies & Milk

Warm chocolate chip cookies & milk with a chocolate & sprinkle rimmed goblet . . . who can resist such cuteness?! (: I made these yesterday for our leadership meeting. Everyone loved them! The chocolate & sprinkle trimmed cup was easy to make. I bought semi-sweet chocolate chips & melted them in the microwave, dipped the rims of the glasses in the bowl, then dipped the rim again in a separate bowl with sprinkles. I put them in the fridge for a while to harden, but that's only optional.

The guys were eating the chocolate off of the glass after they finished the milk & cookies. It was hilarious because the sprinkles turned their lips hot pink! lol I should have taken a picture! Next time, I definitely will!

Jean Shopping

I went jean shopping this weekend. I think I tried on a million pairs of jeans at different stores & finally found a pair. Yes, one pair. Thankfully, I was only in the market to buy one pair lol. Things worked out wonderfully! But shew, it was exhausting!
